515 S 44th St is a ranch style home with a basement in the Martin Acres subdivision of the Majestic Heights neighborhood. It has a total of 2080 square feet, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It needs a lot of work but has some potential. Here’s a link to the photos: Click Here
2,000 square feet for under $550,000. That is quickly becoming a thing of the past. There are also some views of the mountains out the back of the house.
It makes sense that this is one of the least expensive homes on the market. The basement is half torn up and looks as though it experienced some flooding. This lot is the second one in from Table Mesa Drive and the traffic noise and commotion is noticeable. And personally I’m not a fan of this brick design. It’s the kind where they didn’t scrape off the excess mortar from between the brick. To me it appears sloppy and unfinished.
Lastly the kitchen is small without many options of how to open it up. This is because the staircase to the basement runs along the kitchen wall. You could remove the wall to gain some visual space but the floor could not be expanded. Not easily anyway.
It doesn’t surprise me that the house sold for this price. I’m not sure if it was sold to an investor or not but 2,000 square feet for $525,000 makes a lot of sense on paper.
